Before.

Tearing your space apart – it’s a weird, deep-rumbling feeling. Jabs you in the solar plexus, where the fire comes from. Entropic unraveling as time travel, peeling back layers, new puzzles uncovering old puzzles uncovering new ones. Touches something old in you, like the smell of your grandma’s house. Lunar new year new moon transition, welcoming the dragon – dust and flame and another trip to the hardware store.

It’s chrysalis time, friends. Come on in. Our little cart was the beating heart of this outfit since the beginning, and it carried us far, all the way to now. A moment of ceremonial gratitude, if you please, for its tiny power and service. But we’ve been on the wrong side of scrappy for a while. It’s going to be a duct-tape-and-string kind of operation in here for a few weeks, while we continue to piece things together and wait for some new equipment and hookups. But we’ll make it work!

Back at it this weekend, meanwhile, and yes, Kelsey will be here – and she’s bringing peaches! So grateful for this photo of the space, which she captured beautifully on (actual) film. Stay tuned for the “After”!

Thanks so much, everyone, for the love and support. Happy year of the dragon – burn bright, y’all 🐉🔥
